'Tis the Season to be Jolly! - Competition

Christmas is nearly here so it's time for a christmas competition. Basically, the animation must be about at least one of the following:-

- Winter
- Snow
- Christmas
- Other Religious/Cultural Celebration at this time (e.g Hanukkah or Thanksgiving)
- New Year


The rules:

- Let's say no more than 5 minutes and no less than 30 seconds. Credits and Titles do not count.
- Any genre
- Any form of animation
- Must be submitted on the relevant page by 04/01/10 (that's British order)


Now what you all are here for... Prizes:

This is based entirely on how many people enter. If you want good prizes, get others to enter. The prizes will be based on the amount entered before the deadline, as stated above, and may well include cash prizes such as gift vouchers for amazon or another site of the winners choice. If there are not enough entries, the prize will be mainly consisting of Crux Cash and a medal of some sort. There will be a cash prize if 10 or more people enter.
So...

Prizes if 10 or more enter:

1st place:
- £20/$30 voucher for amazon, ebay or another site that the winner wishes to use (must be passed by me first)
- A Claymation Forum medal attached to your profile.
- 2000 Crux Cash
- Youtube Channel will be advertised on my channel
- They can personlise a smiley which will be added to the forum emoticons.

2nd place:
- 1000 Crux Cash
- A Claymation Forum medal attached to your profile
- Youtube Channel will be advertised on my channel
- They can personlise a smiley which will be added to the forum emoticons.

3rd place:
- 750 Crux Cash
- A Claymation Forum medal attached to your profile
- They can personlise a smiley which will be added to the forum emoticons.


Prizes if less than 10 enter:

1st place:
- A Claymation Forum medal attached to your profile.
- 2000 Crux Cash
- Youtube Channel will be advertised on my channel

2nd place:
- 1000 Crux Cash
- A Claymation Forum medal attached to your profile
- Youtube Channel will be advertised on my channel

3rd place:
- 750 Crux Cash
- A Claymation Forum medal attached to your profile

As you can see, the first lot of prizes is the same as the second only there's no cash or emoticons in the latter. So get others to enter to get the chance to win something better than virtual cash!

Winners will be decided upon this criteria:

- Quality of ideas and original thinking
- Formation of plot/idea
- Quality of the animation itself based on the standard of the entrant (I'll be looking at your other animations to compare)
- Reasonable relevance, at least, to the given topics. If you unsure whether or not your idea is relevant enough post a question in this thread or PM me.
